IMG_1367Building an EU Unitary Copyright

On Friday 12 May 2017, the ECS will hold a one-day workshop at SciencePo in Paris to explore, how, and how far, EU copyright law should move from a series of directives harmonizing national law to a single EU copyright title, that is, a unitary copyright applicable and enforceable throughout the EU (parallelling the EU titles in trade mark and designs law). 16 members of the ECS will contribute to the panel discussions, exploring the goals of such a unitary right, its relationship with national laws, and certain aspects of its substance.
